I was hesitant to write on Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker and their new (on fire) relationship. Because well...EVERYONE is talking about it. I mean, I feel like I'm in the whispering halls of high school, comments bouncing left and right! Every tabloid and every social media platform is keeping their eyes peeled, dying to know more.
Thus, earlier on in their relationship I thought, "EH, I'm not going to go there.” Mostly because the two are Hollywood's most current "couple obsession”. They are amongst the most famous and rich. We’ve all heard about it and it doesn't need further coverage than it already has, you get it?
However, this romance keeps blossoming and seriously heating up as more and more intimate moments are revealed to the public eye.We can't ignore it any longer. It just keeps getting better and better. They seem perfect, comfy, cozy together! Not to mention their outfit color coordination...
Who Is Kourtney Kardashian?
For those of you who live under a rock or desperately try to avoid the reality TV genre, Kourtney Kardashian was born an Aries beauty, in Los Angeles, California.
At 42 years-old, Kourtney Kardashian is Kris Jenner's first child with lawyer Robert Kardashian. She was also the first child of Kris to give birth to and now has three adorable kids with ex-partner Scott Disick who she co-parents with.
First child of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, Mason Dash Disick was born on the December 14 in 2009. Scott and Kourt learned of Mason's pregnancy during the filming of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and his birth was filmed and aired during the 4th season of the show. Mason's middle name was his late Grandfather's (Robert Kardashian) nickname and is a shortening of 'Kardashian.'
The second child of Kourtney and Scott, Penelope 'P' Scotland Disick, was born on the July 8 2012. She is often named P on the show as a shortening of her adorable first name, and her middle name is said to be a reference to Kourtney's Scottish ancestry.
P's birth was also aired on KUWTK and her mother famously pulled her out with her own hands. P also appears to be close with cousin North, often photographed on playdates together and having joint birthday parties thrown for them.
Despite the Kardashian and Jenner squad having very big and outgoing personalities, it appears as if Penelope has definitely taken after her mother, Kourtney Kardashian. Kourtney is far more laid back and "chill" than the rest of her sisters, especially now that she has officially stepped away from the show to focus on family. Much like momma Kourtney, Penelope is also quite laid back and quieter than the rest of her siblings and cousins
The third child of Kourtney and Scott, Reign Aston Disick, was born on his elder brother's fifth birthday in 2014. Unlike his older siblings Reign was not seen for the first four months of his life, with our first view of the little boy in April of 2015. Kourtney had the name Reign in mind for both Mason and Penelope, though the spelling would have been Rain for a girl.
Reign is Kourtney and Scott's youngest son, and his name has been on Kourtney's mind for a long time. "I'm never certain [with names] until they're born...I actually had the name on our list with Mason. Then with Penelope, I had it on the list but spelled R-A-I-N," she told People. "Once I was found out I was having a boy, we just changed the spelling again."

"I think motherhood is just about instinct. I remember coming home from the hospital and having no idea what we were doing. Scott and I changed his diaper together, but after a day, it was like “Oh!” I got it. Even before, I had never really held babies. When my younger sisters were born, I was in high school and college. I was at my mom’s all the time but never changed them or fed them."
Who Is Travis Barker?
Travis Barker, 45, is best known for being the drummer of Blink 182. The musician, songwriter and record producer is also associated with the likes of Box Car Racer, The Transplants and has worked with everyone from Machine Gun Kelly to Kenny Hoopla.
But if we've learned anything about Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker over the decades, it's that he loves tattoos and he loves his kids.
With their rock-star dad in the spotlight for much of their childhood, Travis's kids, Landon and Alabama, and their stepsister, Atiana, haven't had the most conventional upbringing. However, the musician has made it known since the beginning that his kids are his number one priority.
"I bought a home that's very close to my children's school, so when I'm not with the kids, Shanna is there; when I'm with the kids, I'm there. There's no making them travel back and forth to different houses," he explained to People magazine back in 2017.
P.S. Shanna Moakler is Travis' ex-wife.
Whether he's gushing about his love for his kids on Twitter, saying "I love being a Dad more than anything, best thing to have ever happened in my entire life" (aww!), or posting sappy throwback photos on Instagram, Travis is all about dad life. And we can't help but admire the trio's close bond, both as siblings and with their dad.
During an interview with Drew Barrymore on March 4, Travis divulged if he preferred dating women with or without children. “I’ve done both up until now,” he began. “I would date girls that didn’t have kids and I find it kind of hard because I think they would have trouble understanding, [like] ‘Why don’t you want to go to dinner every night?’ ‘Why don’t you want to see me every night?’ Now I’m spending time with a woman who’s a great mom, who’s a great friend and you don’t have to worry about any of those things,” he continued in reference to Kourtney. “It just comes natural. It’s like a maturity thing.”
It's safe to say Travis is basically, HEAD-OVER-HEELS for Kourt.
How It's Going...
Kardashian and Barker's relationship, which began at the beginning of this year, has become very serious. In May, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the two were discussing getting engaged eventually.
WHAT?!
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian's romance seems to be going from strength to strength with Kourt now pictured inking a tattoo which reads "I love you" on the rockstar.
“Getting engaged and married one day has definitely been a topic of conversation between Kourtney and Travis,” a source said. “Travis would absolutely love to tie the knot with Kourtney, but Kourtney hasn't been sure that's the step she wants to take in their relationship right now. She is extraordinarily happy and doesn't feel the need or want the pressure of getting married.”
“There are a lot of other factors that concern her if they were to take their relationship to that next level, one of them being her ex-boyfriend and more importantly, her kids and what that adjustment would mean for them,” the source added. “It could be a lot to process, even though everyone sees that Kourtney is undeniably in love with Travis. Kourtney sees herself loving this moment and is just taking everything one day at a time and enjoying their time together.”
A source does make a point to say that Kourt’s hesitation has nothing to do with how she actually feels about Travis. For the record, “Travis makes Kourtney laugh uncontrollably and she loves that he always brings a smile to her face. She also really loves that Travis is such a great, hands-on dad. Travis loves that Kourtney has such an entrepreneurial spirit and that she is a strong, independent mom. They feel like they’re the perfect match.”
AND, over this past weekend Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker looked more in love than ever as they took their true romance to Italy.
Their European vacay marked Barker's second time traveling by air from home and first transatlantic trip since he survived a deadly South Carolina plane crash in 2008.
Travis, who has feared flying since he was a child, and Kourtney could barely keep their eyes, hands or lips off each other during their visit to Italy. They were photographed cuddling, kissing passionately several times and exchanging affectionate looks as they took in the sights in Genoa, Portofino and Venice.
Kourtney shared an Instagram photo of the two making out on a boat. She captioned her post, "That's Amore." Travis commented with a black heart emoji.
The rocker shared a similar pic of the two, writing, "Italy," and adding a black heart emoji. Kourtney commented, "With you."
Back on land, the two also spent time shopping and were seen grinning as they walked hand-in-hand, holding gelato cones.
GET MARRIED ALREADY. Just imagine what their wedding would look like... what designer garments would Travis and Kourtney be darning?
